TH 10 Stone Foam Agent

FOR DRILLING RIGS OR SOIL AUGERS. SPECIFIC FOR ROCK SUBSOILS

1 – CONDITIONS OF USE / RECOMMENDED USAGE

1.1 High-concentration surfactant agent, with good lubricating properties for the drilling bit, to increase the speed in fractured subsoils with conglomerate formations; good foaming power both in fresh and salt waters, also with elevated hardness, to facilitate the discharge of heavy debris through the hole; sliding property to clean the whole machinery from dust and muds, in order to contrast the kneading tendency of marly clays.

1.2 Dilute the product with water in the ratio of:

– 0.5-1 kg/m³ to use it as anti-dust in air drillings;

– 0.5-1 kg/m³ to use it as foaming agent in presence of non-fractured dolomitic limestone;

– 1.5-4 kg/m³ to use it as foaming agent in presence of clays;

– 5-15 kg/m³ for ventilated muds and according to the subsoil compactness;

– 0.5-1 kg to clean the hole, pouring the product into the machinery and adding water.

TR 15 Bost Foam Agent

HIGH-PERFORMANCE THIXOTROPIC POLYMERIC FOAMING AGENT FOR DRILLING RIGS OR SOIL AUGERS, FOR LARGE DIAMETERS AND FRACTURED SUBSOILS

1 – CONDITIONS OF USE / RECOMMENDED USAGE

1.1 High-concentration surfactant agent, formulated to provide a high performance, with extraordinary lubricating properties for the hammer, to increase the speed in non-consolidated subsoils or in fractured subsoils with conglomerate formations;

1.2 Very high foaming power with foam booster effect, both in fresh and salt waters, also with elevated hardness, to facilitate the discharge of heavy debris through the hole;

1.3 Sliding property to clean the whole machinery from dust and muds, in order to contrast the kneading tendency of marly clays.

1.4 Thixotropic effect: the product creates a temporary containment sleeve on the hole walls, thus avoiding landslide and the occlusion of the hole itself.

1.5 Dilute the product with water in the ratio of:

– 0.5 kg/m³ to use it as anti-dust in air drillings;

– 0.5 kg/m³ to use it as foaming agent in presence of non-fractured dolomitic limestone;

– 1.5-3 kg/m³ to use it as foaming agent in presence of clays;

6.1 After different experiences made on drilling sites, we inform you about the following: the foam pouring out of the hole during the drilling phase must absolutely be contained and collected in a hermetic container in order to avoid dispersal in the environment. Should it not be possible because the foam overfills the container, you should treat it with specific defoamers and dispose of the collected water in an authorised landfill.

Should it not be possible because the foam overfills the container, you should treat it with specific defoamers and dispose of the collected water in an authorised landfill. If the product is accidentally dispersed in the environment, in presence of plantations such as olive groves, vineyards, peach orchards etc. and particularly on soils treaded with herbicides, it could happen that the plant leaves turn yellow for a season; the plants, however, do not dry out (no case occurred), and continues to grow and produce fruits. In the following year, the vegetative cycle returns to normal. It is strongly recommended, before starting to use the product, to ascertain if herbicides have been used in the surroundings of the drilling site, in order to take appropriate precautionary measures. Do not disperse the product in the environment under any circumstances and try to contain the leaking water and foam as much as possible.

TP-L 1202 Polymer

EMULSIFIED LIQUID POLYMER TO PREPARE FLUIDS FOR DRILLING AND SOIL SCANNING

1 – CONDITIONS OF USE / RECOMMENDED USAGE

1.1 Polymer to be used to prepare the fluid for drilling and soil scanning; the product is easily soluble in water and does not leave residues or lumps. Due to the high concentration of the product, low doses are to be used. Combined with the foaming agents TH10 STONE FOAM, TR15 BOST FO

AM, TX 20 POLI FOAM o TW 30 WIN POL FOAM, it helps considerably the rotating process and softens the mechanical vibrations.

The TP-L 1202 POLYMER is used for micropiles and diaphragm piles; micro-tunnel for horizontal drilling and provides a viscous drilling fluid to stabilise fractured subsoils, it controls the fliud leaking and functions as a protective inhibitor in presence of clays.

1.2 Dilute the product with fresh water in the ratio of:

– 1.0-1.5 kg/m³ in presence of clay;

– 2.0-2.5 kg/m³ in presence of loam and fine sand;

– 2.5-3.5 kg/m³ in presence of di gravel and coarse sand;

– 3.0-5.0 kg/m in presence of coarse gravel and cavern development;

NATURAL ORGANIC POWDER POLYMER TO PREPARE FLUIDS FOR DRILLING AND SOIL SCANNING, HIGH PERFORMING AND WITH THIXOTROPIC EFFECT TO INCREASE THE DEBRIS TRANSPORT CAPACITY AND THE INCREMENT SPEED

1.1 Polymer to be used to prepare the fluid for drilling and soil scanning; the product is easily soluble in water and does not leave residues or lumps. Combined with the foaming agents TH10 RD FOAM, TR15 RD FOAM o TX 20 RD POLIFOAM, it helps considerably the rotating process and softens the mechanical vibrations.

The TPP 2202 POLYMER has a strong thixotropic effect that provides a viscous and sticky drilling fluid in order to stabilise the walls of fractured subsoils or in presence of sand.

1.2 Dilute the product with fresh water in the ratio of:

– 2-5 kg/m³ according to the diameter, the depth, the type of underlying formation; however, if clay is found, it is recommended to add the TPP 2202 POLYMER in the same percentage.

CONCENTRATED EMULSIFIED DEFOAMER, DEAERATING AND NEUTRALISING, FOR THE FOAM PRODUCED BY FOAMING AGENTS

1 – CONDITIONS OF USE / RECOMMENDED USAGE

1.1 TAS-20 anti-foam is a silicone water emulsion easily dispersible also in cold water and can be added directly, without previous dilution, to the foaming systems, in order to rapidly eliminate the foam pouring out to the surface during the drilling phase.

1.2 The product is effective even in minimal concentrations, so that its use is particularly inexpensive. It is good practice to determine the optimal concentration of use for single applications though preliminary tests. In most frequent cases the concentration of use is however around 0.15 – 0.45 % (150 g- 450 g for 100 l water).
